Javelin Nordic Comet 600g and 800g

Nordic Comet is an entry level javelin for training and competition javelin, made of aluminum. 

Approximate Distance Ratings:

• 600g = 40-45m
• 800g = 50-55m

Flex Ratings (the higher the flex rating the softer than javelin)

800 gram =  Flex 11.4

600 gram = Flex 12.1

The stiffer the javelin, the less it will flex/vibrate in the air and will result in less air drag. The down side is that it puts a lot more strain on the upper body.

A soft javelin flexes/vibrates a lot, which can also be a very good thing if you are less skilled thrower.

With the highest flex rating, the Comet is softest javelin from Nordic and is designed for entry level throwers for competition and experienced throwers to use in training.
